Proud pied April, dressed in all its trim

I pulled the title of this month's gallery from the sonnet I've been working on, Shakespeare 98th sonnet.

Since April is the month of my birthday, I've always been particularly attracted to its youthful pride and tender warmth. As the time goes by, one's birthday might seem less and less like an occasion for celebration — but then again, we are still here, arent' we? Still capable of seeing the beauty of the world, and the teenage-like, somewhat shy and confused but sunny, appeal of April.

If you are drawn to one (or more!) of these paintings, and would like to receive it (or them!) as a (my) birthday gift from me, please start by reading this for an explanation of how it works, and then just click the link under the painting you've chosen to write me an e-mail.
